What is the Difference between the old Code Ezy Remote and this remote?
Code Ezy upgraded the design of this remote late 2025 after feedback from customers. The only changes were made to the external features of the remote including the ergonomic design and strengthening the keyright attachment. The mechanisms within the remote have not changed.
What is the difference between a Genuine ATA/B&D Remote and a Code Ezy Remote?
Genuine ATA and B&D remotes are manufactured and branded by their respective companies, while Code Ezy remotes are premium aftermarket alternatives.

Your new Code Ezy remote must be programmed to your garage door opener using the motor's Learn function. The Code Ezy remote will come preset to the chosen brand - ATA or B&D. Then simply follow the supplied instructions to add your new remote.

My motor model is not shown in the compatibility list, will it still work?
Our compatibility lists are regularly updated, but manufacturers are continually releasing new garage door opener models, so some may not yet be listed.
We are also seeing more garage door openers fitted with additional external receivers, which means your motor may operate with a different remote system than originally supplied.
