These are the standard trading Terms & Conditions of Remote Fella Pty Ltd trading as Retro Remotes.   Retro Remotes maintains these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy at its discretion and they are subject to change. Please check this page often to ensure you agree to the latest version.

Application for Trade

If you are in one of the following fields, you can apply to be an authorised trade customer.

If you wish to become an authorised Trade customer with Retro Remotes, we invite you to fill in the Trade Request Form.  You will then be contacted by a Retro Remotes representative to complete the trade application form.

Once approved you will receive a confirmation with your login details.


Importing Retro Remotes Goods

The products offered for sale on this website are intended for customers based in Australia. However, Retro Remotes make no representation that any products or services referred to in the materials on this website are appropriate for use, or available, in other locations. If you choose to access this site from other locations, you are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent that local laws are applicable. You may be required to pay import duties on receipt of your goods, or contact your local customs to obtain your goods. Please be aware that this is the responsibility of the customer.

Payment Details

Orders can be processed via your trade portal, via phone or in person.

  • Invoice – terms are strictly 30 days from invoice date and payable by bank transfer, credit card or paypal.
  • Credit card orders. We accept Mastercard and Visa.

Freight Charges

Australian Freight is capped at $7.95 per order for approved Trade accounts.  All orders are sent via courier or Australia Post.  Express Post is optional – please contact Retro Remotes if you require your item shipped via Express Post.

Note:  Large Orders – such as motors, swing gate arms may require an additional freight fee if you require express delivery.

Product Warranty

Each item is intended for use only for the purpose described and not for any other purpose. Naturally, any item installed is recommended to be completed by a qualified electrician.  A photographic image may be required to support any warranty claim. In the instance that Retro Remotes deem the product to have been misused your warranty claim may not be honoured.


Retro Remotes offers a 24-month warranty on all remotes, receivers, and openers.  Warranty starts from invoice date.  If you are required to return an article due to a possible warranty claim please follow the below steps.

  1. Return item in a tracked postage to 1/78 Kurzok Place, Richlands QLD 4077
  2. Supply a short note explaining why it is being submitted for a warranty claim
  3. Include a copy of your Tax Invoice

Please note:  Batteries, water damage and/or physical damage to the item are not covered under warranty.  

All warranty claims are submitted for testing.  If an item is deemed to be a warranty claim a replacement will be arranged.  If a replacement is not available due to stock levels or item being discontinued by the manufacturers a suitable replacement will be issued.


Every care has been taken to make sure that you have the correct information to allow you to choose the correct replacement for your system.  If you are unsure of which replacement you require we recommend that you contact us for peace of mind.

Retro Remotes accepts returns on all items valid for 30 days from invoice date.  All returns will incur a $9.95 restocking fee once the order has been received.  Retro Remotes does not take responsibility for the return postage costs.

  1. Return your order or part of your order to 1/78 Kurzok Place, Richlands QLD 4077
  2. Email with your tracking number and a small note explaining the situation.
  3. Please include your contact details on the parcel.

Note:  Your item is sent well protected from the delivery process, we expect it to be returned in the same way.  Damaging or defacing the remote or failure to adequately protect the item in transit will result in voiding our contract.

Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our current Website, prices, delivery details, returns procedures and Privacy Policy set out part of Retro Remotes agreement with its customer relating to the supply of the goods and services. Nothing said by any Retro Remotes salesperson or Retro Remotes representative, or on our behalf, should be understood as a variation of the Terms & conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods or services offered for sale by Retro Remotes.
